I’ve been following the case of Albert Earl Dew from Rocky Mount, and one thing that just baffles me is the fact that no suspects have been publicly identified nearly three years later. It makes you wonder if there are any leads or if this is truly a case of someone slipping through the cracks. The 1400 block of S. Franklin Street isn't exactly a secluded area, and surely someone must have seen something that night. With a vehicle crash involved, even more reason to think witnesses might have noticed something unusual. My heart goes out to Dew’s family—I can’t imagine the frustration of having so many unanswered questions about his passing. I really hope that the reward from Team Cold Case prompts someone to come forward with information. This community needs closure, and more importantly, justice needs to be served. If anyone knows anything, I urge you to speak up.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the location of where Albert Dew's car crashed on S. Franklin Street. It's just so unsettling to imagine what was going through his mind before and after the shooting. If anyone here is familiar with that area, do you think it’s possible that the crash might have attracted witnesses who haven't come forward yet, or maybe even some security cameras that might have caught something helpful on tape? It's outrageous that this case is still unsolved, and I'm hoping someone out there might remember something that could help his family find peace. If you know anything, even the smallest detail, please consider reaching out to the authorities or Team Cold Case. Albert deserves justice.

Maybe someone saw or heard something just before or right after the gunfire, but they've not yet come forward, perhaps not realizing it could help the investigation. It's crucial for anyone with any information, no matter how small it seems, to reach out. Even the smallest detail might be a piece of this puzzle.
