I've been following the case of Wilon McCrae, and it's truly a reflection of the broader challenges in Detroit. It breaks my heart to see another young life lost to gun violence. I wanted to bring up how the lack of resources in investigations plays a huge role in these cases remaining unsolved. It's frustrating that the Detroit Police Department, despite their efforts, struggles with limited funding and manpower, which can slow down investigations. I can't imagine the pain Wilon's family is going through, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. It's crucial for communities to support initiatives aimed at solving these cases, like the Cold Case Unit. The more awareness we raise, the better chance we have of bringing some form of justice to Wilon and his family. If anyone has even the smallest piece of information, it could make all the difference. Let's not let Wilon be forgotten.
