I was reading through the details of Jatangela Bree Hudson’s case, and my heart goes out to her family. I can't imagine what they are going through knowing that the person responsible is still out there. It’s concerning that there hasn’t been any arrest or identified suspects. The community in south Charlotte must feel on edge with such an unresolved case.
I think one of the efforts we could focus on is raising more public awareness. Sometimes finding justice takes a long time, but the more people know about Jatangela's case, the higher the chances that someone might come forward with valuable information. If anyone in the area remembers anything out of the ordinary around Waterford Glen Loop that day, no matter how small it might seem, they should reach out to CMPD.
Also, it’s touching to see the community coming together to support her family through the funeral service. If there are any local events or vigils planned to honor her memory and keep the case visible, I hope those will be shared here too. The more voices we have speaking up for justice, the better.
It's been two years since Jatangela Bree Hudson's tragic death, and yet there's still no closure for her family.
