I've been following the tragic case of Lester Cruz Acevedo, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are going through an unimaginable time. I keep thinking about the witness who found Lester at the gas station. It must have been such a jarring experience to stumble upon someone in distress like that and quickly spring into action to call for help. Being in the right place at the right time made all the difference in ensuring Lester received immediate assistance, even though the outcome was devastating. I wonder if this witness might have more to share from that night, or if others who passed by might remember seeing something unusual around Sugar Creek Road or Merlane Drive. It's moments like these where community support and vigilance can truly help piece together what happened. If anyone out there knows anything, even something small, please reach out to the CMPD. Let's work together to bring justice for Lester.
