Has anyone else been following the new details about the suspects in Darrell Locklear's case? I'm really struck by how young some of them are. It's truly baffling to think about 18- and 22-year-olds being involved in something so atrocious. When we think about community safety, we often look at older offenders, but this situation really brings to light issues of youth violence and the devastating impact it can have. Darrell seemed to be a genuinely good person, someone who's always been there for others, and now his family and friends are left grappling with such a senseless tragedy. I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through knowing that the people involved in such a heinous act are at the start of their lives. I hope the ongoing investigation shines more light on how these young people got caught up in this evil plan, and I pray for justice and healing for Darrell’s loved ones. Rest in peace, Darrell.
