Has anyone here visited the memorial dedicated to Officer LeBlanc in downtown Jennings? I recently had the chance to stop by while passing through Louisiana, and it’s really quite moving. You can feel the respect and admiration the community holds for him. It’s clear he made a big impact on those around him. I talked to a few locals who still speak very warmly about him, describing Burt as not just a dedicated officer, but a deeply kind and genuine person. It's such a profound reminder of the risks officers face every day. Really makes you think about the families they leave behind, too. It's always difficult to fathom the depths of loss felt by his wife and child. Has anyone else been able to visit or have any stories to share about Burt or the community's remembrance of him?
