I've been following the tragic case of Leonard Howard Sr. and his family, and it's been on my mind how much he contributed to his community and country before his life was cut short. As a retired process operator and decorated veteran, Leonard must've had countless stories and experiences he shared with his loved ones. It's saddening to think about the wealth of wisdom and love he had, now missed by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family has shown incredible strength throughout this intense legal process. Losing both Leonard Sr. and Gloria in such a violent way is unimaginable, and yet they have been trying to carry on with grace. I keep them in my thoughts, hoping they find comfort in remembering the vibrant lives Leonard and Gloria led. No family should have to endure such tragedy, and it’s important we support them in keeping Leonard’s legacy alive.
