Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the community response to Arthur Dowell's passing. It’s clear he was loved, with so many testimonials about his positive impact on those around him. It's incredible to read about how he balanced school and work, especially being employed at Emeril's restaurant at such a young age. Given how deeply he was entrenched in the community, I find it puzzling that there's been no public information on any investigation into his death. New Orleans seems to have a tight-knit community, especially among local schools, and it’s upsetting to see a young life impacted without any apparent legal follow-up or answers. It makes you wonder how such a vibrant person could be taken away so suddenly and why there isn't more transparency or a push for justice. Arthur's family and friends deserve some closure, and his story deserves more visibility, not just within the community but beyond. If anyone has thoughts or any recollections about Arthur around that time, sharing would be a step in the right direction.
