Hey everyone, I was sorting through some old case files and came across the Stephen Thompson case. What puzzles me is the timing of when the Maine State Police got involved—seven years after his disappearance! Does anyone else find this odd, or is this a typical timeframe for things like this? I just wonder if anything significant happened around that year to reignite interest in his case. It almost makes me think there might have been some kind of development or new information that didn't make it to the public. If anyone has theories or more background on why the State Police stepped in at that time, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone else looked into the significance of Schwan's hiring practices around the time Stephen Thompson went missing? I’ve been diving into old records, and it seems like they had a bit of a shake-up in management roles shortly after he disappeared. A few new people were brought into his team, and I've always wondered if this could be connected somehow. Maybe someone wanted his position or had issues with his management style? It could be purely coincidental, but in cases like these, any small detail might point us in a useful direction. Would love to hear if anyone else has stumbled across anything similar or if this angle has already been explored.
Has anyone else looked into the role Stephen's employer, Schwan's, might have played in all this? I mean, it's curious that no one from his workplace noticed anything odd or suspicious the day he disappeared, especially being a manager. Were there any tensions or disputes at work that could have escalated? Sometimes workplaces can be a hotbed for issues that spill over into personal lives, and given the timing of it all, I wonder if there was something there that got overlooked or maybe even intentionally left out of reports. Would love to hear thoughts or any info others might have stumbled across regarding this angle!
