On August 20, 1982, Pedro Vasques was killed during a mass shooting at Bob Moore’s Welding and Machine Service in Miami, Florida. Contemporary accounts and later summaries identify him among the eight people fatally shot when 51-year-old teacher Carl Robert Brown opened fire inside the shop late that morning; Vasques is listed as the shop foreman in some records of the victims. Ethnicity for the victim was not specified in the reports I could locate.
