I've been thinking a lot about Angel Danielle Brooks and how much the community adored her. It's evident from the way people still talk about "Muffin" with such fondness and love. I wasn't lucky enough to know her personally, but from what I've gathered, Angel was a light in her community.
One thing that haunts me about her case is the lack of progress, despite the desperate need for justice not just for her, but for everyone who cared about her. It's been over a decade, and I just can't wrap my head around how a sweet soul like Angel could be taken without answers. :(
If anyone is local to Baton Rouge or has any connections, maybe there's something you've heard or remembered that could bring a little more clarity. Sometimes even the smallest detail can make a big difference. We can't let Angel's memory fade without finding out what truly happened. Her family deserves peace and closure, and so does she.
I was thinking about the role the community played during Angel Brooks' funeral, and how it highlights the strength and unity people can show in times of tragedy. The service at World Shakers International must have been incredibly emotional. It’s inspiring to hear that a large number of people came together to commemorate "Muffin" and show support to her family. While the lack of progress in the investigation is deeply frustrating, the way the community rallied around Angel’s loved ones is a testament to the impact she had on those around her. It makes me wonder how crucial community involvement can be in keeping cases like Angel's alive in people's minds and hearts. Is there anything more the community could do to support Angel’s family or help push for progress in the investigation? Anyone with ideas about how to keep the momentum going, please share.
