To this day, I'm still in disbelief that my father is gone...Him coming home from work that, family having a BBQ in the backyard, a police officer, who is the friend of my aunt Darryl was in the front yard casually talking...My cousin bbqing, then asked my father to come take over the grill, while he goes over to his photo studio to take pictures of a female client he had waiting for a session. My aunt who is mentally disabled, comes to her front door of her house in the backyard, same house she shares with her son. Takes his loaded gun out of his dresser drawer in his room and points it at my father while his back is turned... everyone present said they thought it was a toy gun, even my father when he turned around to see her standing there...bc he never knew my cousin had it, nor was a gun present in the house of his mental disabled sister....it's more to this story...when I got the call while I was back home in Philadelphia I knew something wasn't right...One of the reasons my Father left Philly was bc of the gun violence, he hated guns. The main reason bc of my ailing grandmother, he was coming back to take care of her at her request, after leaving La. over 40yrs ago...she mysteriously passed away after my father's death...This never sat well with me and I will never let it rest, bc I'm coming for the truth, one way or another...

I keep thinking about the counterfeit money found at the scene. It's mind-boggling that there was $421,000 in fake cash, yet the police don't think it's connected to the motive. What are the chances this was just a bizarre coincidence? It adds such a strange twist to an already devastating situation. I can't imagine what Alfred's family is going through—it's like losing someone dear and then finding themselves tangled in a situation beyond comprehension.
The involvement of the Secret Service suggests there's more to this counterfeit angle, but it seems like the main focus remains on the tragic loss of Alfred. I hope this ongoing investigation will eventually shed light on both the murder and the mystery of the fake money. It's frustrating to see so many unanswered questions, and I really feel for the community grappling with this complex case.
Has anyone else been wondering about the role of the counterfeit money in Alfred Hill's case? Even though the police have ruled it out as a motive, it's just so puzzling that such a large amount was found at the scene. Was it part of some bigger operation that Alfred or Daryl knew about? I can't help but think there's more to uncover here.
The fact that the Secret Service got involved makes it seem like there's a significant thread to follow. It's tough on a small community like Amite to be thrust into the spotlight like this, especially when a family is going through so much pain and turmoil. I hope the truth comes to light soon, not just for the Hills but for everyone affected by this strange and tragic situation. Thoughts?
Just came across the details of Alfred Hill's tragic death, and I'm really struck by how convoluted this case seems. While his sister, Daryl Lynn Hill, being charged with manslaughter is devastating enough, the discovery of such a massive amount of counterfeit money is mind-boggling and leaves so many questions unanswered.
What's been gnawing at me is how this fake cash even ties into the whole situation. I mean, if the authorities don’t believe it was the reason behind Alfred's death, then what exactly was going on? Could there be more people involved, or possibly an entirely different angle that hasn't come to light yet?
My heart goes out to the rest of their family—having to deal with both grief and the complexity of the investigation must be incredibly difficult. Hopefully, the ongoing efforts of law enforcement will bring some clarity and justice to this perplexing case. Sending strength to everyone affected.
