Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the night Joseph Duplessis IV, or "Lil Joe," as many knew him, was found. It was such a devastating moment for his community, and I can't help but wonder about the hours leading up to that tragic discovery. Was there something that could have signaled danger, or was it all so sudden that no one saw it coming? Lil Joe was clearly loved and truly a positive force to those around him, which makes it even more frustrating that the trail seems to have gone cold. It’s upsetting knowing that his case still haunts his family and those who cared about him. I’m curious if anyone in the city remembers hearing anything unusual that night or noticed anything odd on Monroe Street before it all unfolded. Every little detail might help connect the dots. Hoping justice and peace find their way to Joseph’s family. They deserve answers. Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone else come across information about the abandoned house on Monroe Street where Lil Joe's body was found? I was reading about the area and it seems like there's a lot of history and activity there that might have been overlooked. It’s been over nine years, and it still boggles my mind how a young life was just stolen away like that without answers or justice. My heart really goes out to Joseph's family. Losing a child is unimaginable, and it must be incredibly frustrating for them not knowing what happened or why. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts or memorials in Joseph's honor? I really hope the family gets the closure they deserve. If anyone has any new insights or thoughts, please share.
