Hey everyone, I was just thinking about how frustrating it must be for Damien Champ's family as they wait for justice. One thing that keeps coming up in discussions I've read is the role of community cooperation in solving these types of cases. It's tough to see that despite the effort put into forming a task force, like the one Police Chief Reginald Thomas established, there are still so many hurdles when it comes to getting witnesses to speak up. I wonder, what can be done to encourage more people to come forward? It must be so hard for people who might have information but are afraid or unsure of what to do. Keeping Damien's family in my thoughts and hoping they get the answers and closure they desperately need.
