I've been following the tragic case of Gerald Morgan, and it's hard to wrap my head around how senseless and devastating this crime is. What really strikes me is the fact that a small child, just 4 years old, was also wounded during the shooting. It's deeply troubling to think about how many lives were affected in just a few terrifying moments. I can't imagine the fear and chaos of that day, nor the lifelong scars this is likely to leave on such a young soul. I hope this serves as a wake-up call for stronger community efforts to ensure that kids can simply play outside without fear of violence. Let’s hope that the justice system deserves Gerald and his family's trust by providing real answers and accountability. Keeping all involved in my thoughts.
