Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Deontra Alexander and wanted to take a moment to discuss something that’s been on my mind. I recently read about the rallies and marches that followed his tragic death and felt compelled to share how inspiring it is to see the community come together in such a powerful way. It’s so important to keep Deontra's memory alive while demanding change and accountability from local officials. I noticed that a lot of these community efforts were aimed at addressing the root causes of gun violence, which I think is a vital step forward. It’s not just about bringing justice to Deontra and others like him but also about preventing future tragedies. For those who’ve participated in these marches or know someone who has, how do you feel about their impact? Can these movements drive the change needed to stop these senseless acts of violence? Sending love and strength to Deontra's family and friends during this unimaginable time.
