The tragic loss of Cornel L. Woods is deeply felt in the community. A detail that caught my attention was the involvement of Albert Cox, who was on parole at the time. It's so unsettling that someone with a history, already under the watch, could commit such a heinous crime. It raises questions about the parole system and whether it truly offers adequate supervision or rehabilitation. Woods had been dedicating his time to his family, particularly his mother, and to have his life end so violently is beyond comprehension. My heart goes out to his loved ones, who are undoubtedly grappling with the shock and pain of losing him. For someone who was contributing positively to his family and society, this incident just doesn’t make any sense. I hope justice for Cornel brings some semblance of peace to those who knew and loved him.
