I was reading through the details of Keith Dwayne Liggins' case again, and something struck me about the timing of his disappearance. Given that Keith disappeared right after his best friend's tragic death, I can't help but wonder if there's more to this timing. Could it be that Keith knew something about his friend's death that put him in danger too? Or maybe he was so overwhelmed by grief and his own struggles that he made some risky decisions? From what I gathered, the lack of solid leads is frustrating, especially with the family convinced he might have been seen on the north side. It's puzzling that there's such a gap between potential sightings and the feared outcome. I keep thinking someone out there knows a piece of this puzzle but hasn't come forward. Hoping the renewed attention might bring forward a witness or even someone who heard something from back then. Also, those distinctive scars and tattoos Keith had—couldn't those have been easily recognizable if someone crossed paths with him, given he's still out there? It's odd that despite the searches, there hasn't been more talk or sightings based on these traits. Sending strength to his family; the not knowing must be so hard after all these years.

Hey everyone, new to this forum but I've been following Keith Dwayne Liggins' case for a while. Something that's been on my mind: his sister mentioned his deteriorated appearance the last time she saw him. I'm curious if anyone has theories on whether this could have affected how people perceived him at the time. Could someone have seen him but not realized it was Keith because he looked so different from his usual self or any photos released to the public? It's so easy for people struggling with addiction to end up blending into the background, especially in a big city like Chicago. Would love to hear thoughts on whether this could have contributed to the lack of concrete leads.

I've been following Keith Dwayne Liggins' case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the role his best friend's death might have played in all this. It was around the same period Keith disappeared, and that tragedy could have pushed him either further into hiding or danger. Given their close relationship, I wonder if Keith's state of mind might have been severely affected after losing someone so significant to him. It seems plausible that he could have been more vulnerable and possibly more reckless in the days leading up to his own disappearance. Does anyone else think there might be a connection that wasn't fully explored between his friend's murder and Keith going missing? Sometimes it's those close-knit friendships that hold crucial pieces of the puzzle. Might be worth digging into anyone else in their circle back then to see if there's more to uncover. Thoughts?
