Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about Deon Ellis's case. It's just so unsettling that so much time has passed without justice or any real answers for his family. I was particularly struck by the role the Shreveport community could potentially play in this. I know it can be intimidating to come forward, but every small piece of information might be the missing link investigators need. It's such a painful reminder of how gun violence continues to affect our neighborhoods. I really hope that someone who might have seen or heard something that night finds the courage to speak up soon. Deon deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Stay safe, everyone.

I came across this case while researching recent discussions on unsolved crimes, and my thoughts are with Deon Ellis’s family and friends during this difficult time. I’m particularly concerned about the lack of witnesses or leads in the area where the shooting occurred. One might assume that an incident taking place on a public street would have had at least a few people around who saw or heard something. I wonder if there are any community organizations that could help, perhaps by organizing awareness campaigns or outreach efforts to encourage people to come forward. Sometimes, just being reminded of a detail or having a safe place to report it can make all the difference in solving a case. It’s troubling to think that someone capable of such violence is still out there, and I sincerely hope that anyone with information feels compelled to speak up. Every small piece of information can be invaluable in helping the police piece together what happened that tragic day.
