I can't stop thinking about the courage Armando must have shown in his final moments. Trying to defend himself and his friend during the robbery must have been terrifying. It's a stark reminder that we should always be cautious when meeting strangers, especially for online transactions. My heart goes out to his family and the woman who survived the attack. I hope she’s getting the support she needs to heal from this traumatic experience. Does anyone know if there’s been any community response or initiatives in New Orleans to improve safety for these kinds of transactions? It would be great to see something positive come out of such a devastating situation.
I’ve been following Armando Salgado's case and there’s something that’s been on my mind. It’s really disturbing how quickly a seemingly normal transaction can turn into a nightmare. They found the suspect’s ID in Armando’s car—which is totally puzzling. I just can’t wrap my head around the thoughtlessness. Why carry ID if you're planning something so reckless and violent? It’s almost surreal that such a careless detail played a significant role in catching these guys. Despite the senseless loss, I’m relieved that piece of evidence was there to help catch them. My heart goes out to Armando’s family and friends—nobody should have to go through this. It’s a stark reminder for everyone to always prioritize safety and trust your instincts during these meet-ups. Stay safe, folks.
