Did anyone else catch the bit about Ray Wagner planning to search Highline Lake with a magnet designed for finding bodies? I find this really intriguing! I've heard of people using magnets to find metal objects underwater, but using one to search for a body is new to me. It makes me wonder how effective this method is and if it might be a helpful tool in other cold cases. It’s a real example of Ray’s determination that he’s going old-school with this WWII-era technique. I’m also curious why he thinks this could work when the official search with divers and sonar didn’t turn up anything. Do you think there’s a chance the magnet might help him find Shane? I really hope Ray’s efforts lead to some closure or at least answers. What are everyone’s thoughts on unconventional search methods like this?
