I keep thinking about that standoff on Lavender Street where they finally arrested Keaun Jones. It must have been terrifying for the neighbors to witness such a tense situation unfolding right in front of their homes—I can’t even imagine the fear they felt. The fact that Jones had previously skipped his arraignment makes me wonder about how seriously these guys take the system and the lengths they go to avoid facing the consequences of their actions. I really hope the community around there has been able to recover some sense of safety. My heart goes out to Damian Crockem Jr.’s family as they navigate this difficult road to justice.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Damian Crockem Jr., and I can't stop thinking about the detective work that led to the arrest of Elliot Peters. It must have taken such determination and skill for Detective Tindell Murdock and the team to piece everything together so quickly. They identified Peters and managed to apprehend him in less than two weeks. It gives me hope knowing that there are officers out there committed to bringing justice and closure to the families affected by such terrible acts. I read that the Special Operations Division's Vows Unit was involved, and their ability to track Peters down shows just how crucial their role was in this case. My heart goes out to Damian’s family, and I hope the ongoing investigation continues to be thorough and effective. Keep doing what you're doing, NOPD. Thoughts?
