Has anyone else been following the Alex Babineaux case from Church Point? I just can't get over the fact that it's been over six years without any movement towards justice. Reading about how tightly-knit the community is makes it all the more painful to think about how this has impacted everyone there. I mean, imagine hearing those gunshots and then finding out it was someone you knew.
I keep thinking about the lack of leads in the case. It’s alarming that there were no eyewitnesses who could identify the vehicle or the shooter. In such a small area, where you’d think someone might have seen something, it’s baffling. I hope the police can get a break soon. It’s so important for the town’s sense of safety and for Alex’s family to have some closure. If you know anything or even heard something from someone back then, please consider reaching out. Keeping this case alive in discussions could make all the difference in finding who did this and giving Alex’s loved ones the answers they so desperately need.
I’ve been thinking more about the tragic case of Alex Babineaux lately. It’s devastating to know that he was just out walking when his life was taken so cruelly. Church Point isn’t a big place, and it’s concerning that residents are feeling fearful and unsafe because of this. Alex’s family deserves closure, and the community deserves to feel safe again.
