Hey everyone, I've been really troubled by Devan Deshun Smith's case recently. It's been over six years, and it feels like his story has just faded away. As a father, son, and grandson, it's clear he was deeply loved and left quite a legacy with his children and family. I can't imagine the pain his family is still enduring without any answers or closure. It’s frustrating that there seems to be so little information available about the circumstances of his passing or any progress in the investigation. Does anyone here have any connections to Marrero or New Orleans that might have heard something about what happened? Or maybe any local news sources that might have covered this back when it happened? It just feels like his family deserves more and that his story deserves to be told with the respect and attention it needs. Maybe with more eyes on this, someone will come forward, or we’ll find just a piece of the puzzle that’s missing. It’s so important that we don’t forget about Devan and others like him whose lives have ended far too soon and without answers. Sending love to his family and hoping for peace for them.

Has anyone else been looking into Devan Smith's case? I stumbled upon his story and couldn't help but feel for his family, especially his children. Losing someone at such a young age is devastating, but it’s even more troubling when there are so many unanswered questions. Given that there's so little information out there, I'm curious if anyone in the community has heard anything or if any local news has reported updates I might've missed. It seems like his case deserves more attention, and his family deserves answers. Sending strength and love to them during this difficult time.
