I'm struck by how the community rallied around Leroy Sims III’s family during such a difficult time. It's clear that he was loved by many. The fact that there are still no significant leads in the case is concerning, and I find myself wondering about the role community support might play in bringing justice for him. In so many cases, it’s a tip or piece of information from someone who saw or heard something that makes all the difference. Does anyone know if the police have considered reaching out more directly to residents in areas near the incident? Sometimes canvassing the neighborhood again after some time has passed can result in new witnesses stepping forward, especially if people initially felt too intimidated or scared to speak up. My thoughts are with Leroy’s family and everyone who knew him. It’s important that we don’t let this case fade into the background. Keeping the conversation going can be incredibly helpful in applying the pressure needed for justice to be served.
