It's been over 20 years since Hartanto Teguh Santoso vanished, and I still find it so puzzling how his case remains officially unsolved without his body being found. Something that doesn’t get discussed enough is the choice of Mason’s ex-girlfriend to testify against him. It must've taken a lot of courage to come forward with such damning testimony, especially considering the danger and fear she must have felt. I wonder what other evidence might've been left undiscovered or unwillingly withheld due to fear. People close to cases like these often hold key information, but safety concerns can result in many remaining silent. Could there still be others who know more than they let on? I hope any lingering truths find their way to light so Santoso’s family can find some peace.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I've always been curious about the role the neighbors might have played in Hartanto Santoso's case. Just think about it—if they heard all those horrible noises, why didn’t anyone call the police immediately that night? I get that it might have been scary, but if someone had called sooner, maybe things could have turned out differently. It’s just unsettling to think about how close help might have been. And also, did any of them get a good look at the person driving off in Santoso’s Mustang? Sometimes I wonder if we’ll ever get closer to the truth with so many unanswered questions still hanging over this case. It’s frustrating. Has this ever been brought up to anyone else involved in the investigation? Would love to hear others’ thoughts on this angle.
I can't stop thinking about the odd circumstances around Hartanto Teguh Santoso’s disappearance. Has anyone else wondered why his car was found at the airport? It feels strange that there was no record of him taking a flight or even trying to leave. If Mason was trying to make it look like Santoso fled or left on his own, that wasn't executed well. Or maybe it was a diversion to throw off the investigation? The airport is a well-trafficked area, so you'd think there’d be more witnesses or security footage. It just seems like an incomplete piece of the puzzle. Would love to hear others' thoughts on why the airport was chosen and what it might mean for the case.
