Hey everyone, I came across the tragic case of Sirrory Young, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on his loved ones. It’s so frustrating that even with a suspect in custody, there seems to be little info on what's happening with the case. I wonder if this is a normal thing with investigations in Baton Rouge or if it's unique to this case. It must be incredibly difficult for the family not knowing if justice is being served. Does anyone know if there have been community efforts to support his family or raise awareness about his case? Would love to hear if there's been any movement or updates from local news.

I've been following the case of Sirrory Young, and something that really stands out to me is how much the Baton Rouge Police Department's clearance rate says about their work over the years. A 62% clearance rate is higher than the state and national averages, which gives me hope that justice will eventually be served for Sirrory. Despite this, it’s still hard knowing that nearly 40% of these cases remain unsolved. It's a real reminder of the pain and struggle that families like Sirrory's have to endure while waiting for answers. I can't help but think about those 87 candles lit in his memory online. While it's a beautiful tribute, I imagine it's of little comfort given that there's so much uncertainty surrounding the case. Sending strength and thoughts to everyone who loved him. Sirrory deserved so much more, and I truly hope more information comes to light soon.
