Hey everyone, I've been thinking about Oran "Pollyman" Henderson and wanted to share some thoughts. It strikes me how deeply embedded in the Lake Charles community he was. It's clear from his long-time membership at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and his ties with Washington High School that he left a significant mark on those around him. What resonates with me is how his life seemed to be a testament to genuine connection and kindness, something we don't always see highlighted enough in discussions around these tragic events. I think it’s important not to let the circumstances of his death overshadow the legacy of his compassion and dedication. If you knew Oran or have any good stories about him, it would be great to share them. Let's remember the person he was and keep that spirit alive. Thoughts and love go out to Jasmine and the rest of the family. They must be facing an unimaginable void. We’re thinking of you. Stay safe, everyone.
