I’ve been thinking a lot about the bystanders and witnesses in the area at the time of Tyrone Reese's death. Living in a city like New Orleans, where community ties are strong, seeing something as tragic as this unfold must have been incredibly traumatic. I can't imagine the internal conflict some of them may be feeling, especially knowing their testimonies could potentially put someone away for life. My heart goes out to them, as well as to Tyrone’s family. Their courage in coming forward and sharing what they saw is commendable. It's a reminder of how important community is in seeking justice and how critical it is for witnesses to come forward, despite the personal difficulties they may face. It's just a heartbreaking situation all around, and I hope they’re getting the support they need.
