Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the local homicide cases from 2019, especially the tragic death of Leah Marie Carlos. I can't stop wondering about the role her frequent visits to New Orleans might play in piecing together this mystery. It's puzzling how someone with ties in multiple areas like Thibodaux and New Orleans could be targeted so specifically in her Schriever home. Leah seemed to have connections across different parts of Louisiana, and it makes me wonder if she might have known her attacker or if it was just random. There's this broad geographic area involved, which could potentially complicate things. Has anyone else thought about the possibility of connections spanning different communities she was involved with? It must be so difficult for her family to navigate this ambiguity and uncertainty. I really hope the community steps up to help bring some closure to Leah's loved ones. Any lead, no matter how small, might be the missing puzzle piece investigators need. Stay safe and keep caring, everyone.
