Leah Marie Carlos, a 40-year-old woman from Schriever, Louisiana, was found dead in her home on May 27, 2019. Her body was discovered by a maintenance worker in the 200 block of North Main Project Road. Authorities observed at least one gunshot wound on her body, indicating that she had been shot. Leah Marie Carlos had lived in the home where her body was found, but she also resided in the Thibodaux area and other parts of Terrebonne Parish. She was known to frequent the New Orleans area.
