Hi everyone, I came across some info about Shirley Ann Carpenter Trapp's case that I wanted to discuss. I was wondering if anyone else finds it odd that there was so little physical evidence linked to her, especially given Bright's confession? I mean, they found bone fragments at his place, but how were they unable to connect any of it conclusively to Shirley? With the advancements in forensic technology, I would think they'd have a clearer picture by now. Does anyone know if they're planning on conducting more advanced tests anytime soon, or is this just another dead end? The lack of closure for her family must be incredibly difficult, and I keep thinking there has to be something more that can be done. What are your thoughts on this?
I’ve been diving deeper into Shirley Ann Carpenter Trapp’s case, and something that stands out to me is the lack of physical evidence that could conclusively connect her to Larry D. Bright’s backyard. It’s almost like she vanished without a trace, and this part of her story feels so unsettling. I know Bright confessed, but without definitive evidence, it leaves a small sliver of doubt. How do we reconcile his confession with the absence of remains? It’s infuriating, especially for her family who’s left without closure. Does anyone else think there’s more to uncover about other potential disposal sites, or could it all have been lost to fire and time?
