It's bewildering and sad to think about who Ludie might have been meeting or what he was doing in that neighborhood at such a late hour. The Lower Ninth Ward has seen its share of violence, and it's just awful that another life has been taken so senselessly. I can't help but feel for Ludie's family and friends who are left with so many unanswered questions. Why was he there? Did he know the people who lived at the home, or was he just passing through? The lack of information from the police is frustrating, and it seems like someone out there must know something. I really hope that anyone who has even a small piece of the puzzle will step up and share what they know. Ludie's loved ones deserve some peace and understanding in this terrible time.
