Has anyone else noticed how the location plays such a huge part in these tragic events? The Gus Young Avenue area has long been plagued with violence, and sadly, Lester Jerome Kinchen became another victim in this cycle. It's so frustrating that the surroundings where people live can be a contributing factor to such unnecessary loss of life. I can't help but think about how different things might have been if the community had the resources and support needed to combat this ongoing issue. Lester's death is a wake-up call for Baton Rouge to prioritize change and work towards creating a safer environment for everyone. My heart goes out to Lester’s family and friends during this incredibly challenging time. They deserve justice and, more importantly, a community that supports healing and prevents such tragedies from happening again.
