I can’t stop thinking about Daymian M. Taylor's tragic and untimely death near downtown Shreveport. As someone trying to piece together what happened on April 19, 2020, I keep wondering about the area where this took place. Pickett Street, especially in the early hours, sounds like a quiet spot—how did things escalate to such a deadly level there?
The fact that the police have yet to catch anyone responsible makes me feel anxious for justice. It's a busy part of town, so you would think someone saw or heard something that could help investigators. I’m hopeful that folks in the area will come forward if they have any information.
