I've been following the tragic case of Demarcus and Tre’jon, and it's just incredibly difficult to fathom the pain their mother, Shaquita Clark, is enduring. I can't imagine what it's like to lose both of your children in such a senseless act of violence. As a community, we must rally together to support her and ensure that justice is served.
I keep thinking about how tight-knit Demarcus and Tre’jon were, and how their bond has been shattered. It's stories like these that remind me how crucial it is to tackle the issue of gun violence. While I hope Antoine Jones is found and brought to justice quickly, it's also vital we address why these tragic events continue to happen. How do we prevent this and create safer communities for our children?
Anyone with information on Jones needs to step up. It’s essential that we don’t allow this case to go cold. My heart goes out to the Clark family as they navigate this unimaginable journey, and I pray they find the closure they deserve.

Does anyone know if there have been any updates or community events in New Iberia to honor Demarcus and Tre’jon's memory?
