Hey everyone, I’ve been following Kevin Thomas Jr.’s case and just can’t stop thinking about the role the community should play in these investigations. It's so important for people in the area witnessing anything suspicious or any tiny bit of detail they might remember from that day to come forward. The fact that this happened in broad daylight in a place as busy as a Dollar General makes me think there might be more information out there.
The NOPD seems really dedicated to finding out what happened, but they’re also at the mercy of what evidence they can gather and the witnesses who come forward. I feel for Kevin's family and friends—knowing that someone could help bring them some peace but hasn't yet must be incredibly hard. If anyone has heard anything, even a small piece of the puzzle could be crucial. The Crimestoppers reward is also an incentive for those who might be hesitant to reach out due to fear or uncertainty.
It’s terrible to see another life lost to gun violence, and cases like this could really use a collective community effort to find justice. Keeping Kevin and his family in my thoughts.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Kevin Thomas Jr.'s case since it happened, and it really hits hard to think about his family dealing with this loss. I was reading about how it happened in front of a Dollar General on South Claiborne Avenue, and I just can't stop thinking about how many times I've walked past there. It's unsettling to imagine such violence happening in a place that feels so regular and familiar.
I wonder if anyone in the community has considered organizing neighborhood watches or community meetings to discuss safety in the area. It could be really beneficial to have more community-driven efforts to make the area safer. Plus, I’m sure there are people who might have seen something or know something but haven’t come forward because they don’t feel safe.
I genuinely hope those responsible for this tragedy are found soon. No family should have to go through this without answers. If anyone here knows of any community groups or efforts that are trying to address the violence in our area, maybe we can help spread the word or even join in some way.
Stay safe out there, everyone, and keep supporting Kevin's family in any way you can.
Hey everyone, I'm new to this case discussion but felt compelled to chime in. I've been thinking about the location of Kevin Thomas Jr.'s tragic murder—right in front of a Dollar General on South Claiborne Avenue. It's so unsettling to think this happened in such a public space. The more I read, the more questions I have about potential witnesses. A store like that must have had people around, right? I wonder if anyone saw anything, even if they don't think it's significant. Every small detail can be crucial in these investigations.
Also, I'm curious—does anyone know if the store had security cameras, and if so, have they been checked by the police? It’s awful for Kevin’s family to be in this limbo, waiting for justice and answers. Sending all my thoughts to them right now. If anyone has more details or thoughts about this aspect of the case, please share. I feel like community awareness can really make a difference in keeping the momentum going.
