Hey everyone, just wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind about Kevin Thomas Jr.'s case. I've been thinking about how crucial public surveillance footage can be in solving cases like his, especially since this happened right in front of a Dollar General. Considering the location, there ought to be some kind of CCTV coverage, right? I’m wondering if anyone's heard whether footage has been reviewed or if it’s been difficult to obtain for any reason. Sometimes businesses can be weirdly reluctant to hand this stuff over, or maybe the footage wasn’t working well. I just hope the NOPD is really digging into every available resource because every little detail matters. Kevin deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. Anyone have insights or thoughts on this? Let’s keep discussing and sharing anything that can help get the word out.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Kevin Thomas Jr., and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I recently came across a few discussions online about security in the area where the tragedy happened. Some locals have mentioned that the South Claiborne Dollar General store, where Kevin was shot, has had ongoing issues with loitering and minor criminal activities. I can’t help but wonder if better surveillance or a more noticeable police presence could have deterred this tragic event. It makes me think about how many other places might be ticking time bombs because of a lack of attention to these seemingly minor issues. It’s unsettling to imagine that something like this could happen in broad daylight in what should be a safe space for the community. Does anyone else feel that more could be done in terms of preventative measures? Maybe community programs or partnerships with stores to enhance security could be part of the solution here. I truly hope they find the person responsible and that his family can one day find some semblance of peace. Any thoughts or similar experiences in your areas?
