I've been following the tragic case of Joan and Zoren O'Brien and my heart goes out to their loved ones. Something I can't stop thinking about is Joan's incredible involvement in the community through her church. Being a part of the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society, she must have touched so many lives. It's beyond sad to think about how such a selfless, community-oriented person was taken in such a cruel way. I imagine the church community is feeling this loss profoundly. Has there been any statement or tribute from the church? It's comforting, at least, to know that the community is rallying for justice. I hope they find the answers they need soon.
