Darius Oliver, a 21-year-old male, was shot and killed on August 23, 2013, in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred just days after he had been wounded in a drive-by shooting near a church in the 4500 block of North Sheridan Road. Oliver was one of five people shot in that attack, which took place during a community gathering near the church.
