Hi everyone, I’ve been following the details surrounding Courtney Whitfield’s tragic death at the Baton Rouge IHOP, and it's just devastating to think of what his family and coworkers are going through. I was particularly struck by the role surveillance footage played in the investigation. It's a reminder of just how crucial video evidence can be for piecing together a timeline of events and identifying those responsible. Knowing that the footage helped bring about the arrests is a bit of relief; it’s at least a step toward accountability. But I can’t help feeling for the employees who had to witness such a horrific event. Returning to work after something that traumatic must be incredibly difficult. I hope this community continues to rally around those affected and pushes for broader change. We really need to address the root causes of violence if we want lasting change. My heart goes out to Courtney's loved ones during this challenging time. Stay safe out there, everyone.
