Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Ceyonne Riley? I was reading about the highway shootings in New Orleans and was reminded of how dedicated she was to her daughter and how hard she was working to make a better life for them. These shootings on the Pontchartrain Expressway are becoming far too common, and it's terrifying to think that it's just a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ceyonne’s story really hit me, especially knowing she was out working a second job just to provide for her little girl. It’s devastating that Mariah has to grow up without her mom because of such senseless violence. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain her family and friends are going through. I really hope the NOPD can find some leads soon. It feels like they’re fighting an uphill battle with these highway shootings, but Ceyonne deserves justice, and Mariah deserves answers. If anyone has any updates or thoughts on the investigation, please share. It’s important we keep talking about these cases so that they don’t get forgotten. Keeping Ceyonne’s loved ones in my thoughts.
