Has anyone else in the forum been following the ongoing investigation into the murder of Tyrell Hines in Hammond? It's been over two years, and I can't imagine how tough this is for his family and friends. I came across an article mentioning that the police were canvassing the neighborhood pretty heavily after the shooting, trying to gather witness statements. I really hope someone steps forward with more information. It’s hard to believe no one saw anything that night, especially with it happening at 11:00 p.m.
It feels like there's such a tight-knit community there, and I keep thinking maybe someone is scared to speak up? If anyone from Hammond is here, how’s the atmosphere been since all this happened? Tyrell seemed to be a cherished member of the community, and it must be weighing heavy on everyone. I'm really hoping for a break in the case soon. His loved ones deserve answers.

With how frequently security cameras are installed in urban settings these days, I'm hoping there might be something helpful that the police haven't gone public with yet.
