I've been reading through all the information on Norma Cheryl Cornelius, and something that's been bothering me is the lack of coverage around her tattoos. Tattoos can be such a distinctive feature, especially in missing persons cases, yet I feel like they're not being highlighted enough in this situation. Norma's tattoos, particularly the word "Sterling" on her neck and the roses on her forearm, could stand out to someone who might have seen her after she disappeared. It's such a recognizable characteristic that could easily help jog someone's memory if they encountered her. I wonder if local artists in the area who might have worked on her tattoo could provide any additional insights or remember seeing her around that time. Maybe they knew her or heard something that could be helpful to the case. It makes me ask if enough was done back in 2008 to reach out to tattoo parlors in New Orleans. Does anyone else think this angle should be pursued more aggressively?

Hey everyone, I've been following Norma Cheryl Cornelius's puzzling case for a while, and I'm curious about something I came across recently. While the majority of her sightings were centralized around Bourbon Street, a detail that's been under-discussed is her choice of tattoos. The “Sterling” tattoo on her neck has me intrigued. Does anyone know if "Sterling" was significant to her? It could be a friend's name, a relative, or something entirely different. Sometimes tattoos hold deep meaning, and understanding this could provide a bit of personal insight into her life and perhaps the company she kept. I'm just thinking that maybe someone who knew her around the time she vanished might recognize the name and provide some much-needed context to the investigators. Any thoughts or info from those familiar with the case would be great to discuss here.

Has anyone on this forum frequented Bourbon Street around the time Norma vanished? I was reading some articles, and it struck me that Bourbon Street tends to be super crowded, even on regular nights. It seems wild that someone could just disappear without a trace in such a public place. There must've been so many people around who didn't realize they might've seen something significant. I wonder if anyone remembers seeing anything unusual or out of place back then? Maybe it's just a long shot after all these years, but sometimes little details come to light way later. Even a small piece of info could prove crucial in such a mysterious case. Those who were around at that time—do you remember anything odd or out of the ordinary? This has surely got to be hard on Norma's family, having so few clues about what happened.
