I’ve been thinking a lot about Dion Campbell’s case, especially about the location where his body was found. Malcolm X Park is such a central place in the community, and it’s hard to comprehend how something so violent could happen in an area that's supposed to be about connection and recreation. It’s unsettling to think that someone could commit such a heinous act in a place where people gather for sports and family picnics. I hope that anyone who was in or around the park that morning comes forward with any information that might have seemed insignificant at the time. Every bit counts, and Dion and his family deserve clarity and peace. Sending strength to everyone impacted by this tragedy.
