In the spring of 2008, the life of a young African-American man, Dion M. Campbell, was tragically cut short at the age of 23. On the morning of Monday, April 7, 2008, his body was discovered inside Malcolm X Park in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood. The scene, located in the area of 100 Dale Street, was quickly cordoned off by Boston Police officers from Area B-2 who were responding to a radio call.
