Hi everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts on the increasing violence in New Orleans, especially in relation to Derrick Copelin's case. I can't help but feel deep sympathy for Derrick's family and friends who are trying to make sense of such a devastating loss. It's really troubling to see such a promising young man's life cut short, especially during broad daylight in what should have been a routine work moment. The more I think about it, the more I wonder about the environment that allows for something like this to happen. The fact that this shooting took place near a church of all places really emphasizes the disregard for safety and sanctity in the community. It's alarming how an ordinary day turned into a nightmare with 60 shell casings left at the scene. My heart goes out to all those who witnessed this horror unfold and to those who are now living in fear. I hope that with all of this attention, someone might come forward with information that leads to justice for Derrick and Zernell. It's crucial for the community to stand together now more than ever and support the families who are left dealing with unimaginable pain. Hoping for answers soon.
