I can't stop thinking about how close-knit families can sometimes have deep-seated conflicts that tragically boil over. It’s just so unexpected and unsettling. From what I have read about Courtenay Skinner's case, it seems like there were underlying tensions that went unresolved until it was too late. It makes me wonder if there's something more we can do as a society to offer better support systems for families going through tough times. My heart goes out to Courtenay's loved ones who have to face the aftermath of this tragedy, while also dealing with the legal steps being taken against Laquan Wilson. Hopefully, the community can come together to prevent something like this from happening again, encouraging conversations and interventions before situations reach such a devastating point.
