I’ve been thinking a lot about that phone call Reone had with Whitney during the shooting. It must have been an absolutely terrifying experience, knowing something was wrong and feeling so helpless while it was happening. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and fear Whitney’s daughter must have felt, too, having to witness such a traumatic event. The bond between a mother and daughter is incredibly strong, and to have it disrupted in such a violent way is truly devastating.
I’ve been following the updates from the NOPD and knowing that her dad, William Wilson, was there at the scene and got detained adds another layer to the tragedy. It's just so tough all around for their family. I really hope they find that burgundy SUV soon and that someone comes forward with information. Whitney deserves justice, and her family deserves peace. ?
I'm really troubled by the news about Whitney Wilson's tragic passing. Strikes me how random and cruel it all seems. One detail that's stuck with me: that burgundy Volkswagen Atlas SUV missing the license plate. With it being stolen just days before, I wonder if it’s connected to any other recent crimes in the area? Given the number of stolen cars turning up in broader criminal activities, it got me thinking if possibly tracking similar cases might lead to a breakthrough. I can’t imagine the pain Whitney's family is experiencing, especially with her daughter witnessing such horror. It's crucial for anyone who might have seen this vehicle or the people connected to it to come forward. The more eyes on this, the better chance there is to get answers and, hopefully, some peace for her loved ones. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Whitney’s family during this unimaginable time.
