Has anyone else been following the case of Alvin Turner and Linda Johnson? I can't stop thinking about how routine gatherings meant to celebrate life can suddenly turn into sites of unimaginable loss. It’s so disturbing to think about what everyone must have felt when the argument escalated and those tragic shots were fired. Alfred had a whole community behind him, and from what I've read, he was cherished by so many. And what about Linda Johnson? To be in the wrong place at the wrong time—it’s genuinely terrifying. Hoping their families find strength and unity amidst this chaos as they wait for justice to be served. It’s hard to imagine how such violence erupted in a community that's usually so peaceful. Keeping everyone affected in my thoughts.

I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragic event must be having on the close-knit community in Thibodaux. It seems so out of place for a peaceful area with such a low crime rate. Alvin Turner's senseless death, along with Linda Johnson's, has surely left a void in the lives of their friends and family. The fact that this happened at a gathering where people should have been celebrating life only makes it more tragic. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I hope the community can come together to support each other through such a difficult time. The justice system will hopefully bring some form of closure, but nothing will truly make up for the lives that have been lost.
